Oppy, Mastronardi Produce, Red Sun Farms, Fresh Direct Produce and Crawford Packaging were once again chosen as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
The candidates for this prestigious award are analyzed by an independent jury made up of representatives of the program’s sponsors and guest judges. Assessed against the overall performance of the company, successful candidates also demonstrate leadership in areas of strategy; capabilities and innovation; culture and commitment and finance to achieve sustainable growth. Oppy has been chosen every year since his first candidacy in 2001 and has been part of the program’s Platinum Club for 14 years.

Crawford Packaging received the Best Managed Company designation for its overall business performance.
With rapid growth in the fruit and vegetable industry, the company has expanded its warehousing facilities across North America to make the packaging supply chain more efficient for our customers. Going further, the company is building a Mexican operation that will be a support resource for local customers with Mexican sales representation, technical support and warehousing.
