Leeds ‘submit offer’ as full-back price revealed
Leeds United have had a strong start to the season so far.
The Whites have already picked up four points from their opening two games as they look to stage a season free of any relegation stress.
With that in mind, we’ve rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumors surrounding Elland Road.
Leeds are reportedly “very close” to securing a deal for striker Willy Gnonto.
Corriere Dello Sport report that the Whites have submitted a bid worth £4.2million.
FC Zurich have reportedly been looking for a fee of around that much this summer, and Leeds could be close to agreeing a deal.
There are also reportedly bonuses included in the offer in a bid to convince Zurich, although Feyenoord have reportedly shown interest in the Italian as well.
The Whites could be close to ending their striker search.
Taylor price tag
Leeds have been linked with a move for Burnley star Charlie Taylor for the past few weeks, and they now know how much they will have to pay.
Burnley recently signed Ian Maatsen in place of Taylor which has led to fresh departure claims.
White people are said to like Taylor, but according to Lancashire Livethey will have to pay at least £5million to complete a deal.
Burnley have put the price on Taylor after already losing a number of defenders in recent months.
This would be seen as an affordable fee by Leeds, especially if they can land a new striker on the cheap.
