Gasoline and diesel remain unchanged in the fuel price adjustment



The public is hereby informed that in accordance with changes in international oil prices and the government’s application of the modified market pass-through oil pricing mechanism, the retail price of kerosene and LPG cylinder of 100 pounds has changed. Retail prices for 20 lb and 22 lb diesel, gasoline, LPG cylinders remain unchanged. The price change takes effect from Monday, August 15, 2022.

Gasoline remains unchanged at $3.95 per liter or $17.95 per gallon

Kerosene went from $3.74 to $3.91 per liter or from $16.98 to $17.77 per gallon

Diesel remains unchanged at $3.95 per liter or $17.95 per gallon

The 20-pound (9.07 kg) cylinder remains unchanged at $45.27 per cylinder

The 22-pound (9.98 kg) cylinder remains unchanged at $49.79 per cylinder

100 lb (45.36 kg) cylinder increased from $340.10 to $320.49 per cylinder

The 20 lb (9.07 kg) cylinder is subsidized at $18.83 per cylinder and the 22 lb (9.98 kg) cylinder is subsidized at $20.72 per cylinder.

The next retail price adjustment for petroleum products will take place on Monday, September 5, 2022.
