STOCKHOLM, July 8, 2021 / PRNewswire / – With the acquisition of Electrolux, a world leader in household appliances, strengthens its service network by France and underlines its commitment to promote the circularity and repairability of devices.
Electrolux today announced its agreement to acquire La Compagnie du SAV (CSAV), France’s leading independent service provider (ISP) specializing in the repair of household appliances. The acquisition is fully in line with the Electrolux Group strategy to deliver exceptional experiences to consumers, ensuring they get the most out of their devices throughout the product lifecycle.

The acquisition also underlines Electrolux’s strong commitment to promoting the circularity and repairability of devices. The transition to a circular economy is a key project of the French government and a fundamental element of the European Green Deal. The European Green Deal is a set of political initiatives of the European Commission whose main objective is to make Europe climate neutral by 2050.

CSAV will be part of the Electrolux Group from July 8e, 2021 but will continue to operate fully as an independent entity, offering multi-brand services. In a fragmented market, CSAV is a leading French service provider covering the entire territory and offering consumers comprehensive, integrated and innovative assistance and repair services. With nearly two million devices repaired and maintained since 2012, CSAV relies on extensive experience in the field of household appliances. The company is headquartered in Lisses, south of Paris, and employs around 200 people. Net sales in 2020 amounted to approximately 25 million euros.
